Is anyone else getting an error when trying to pull it up the website or the forum? I keep getting rerouted to a foreign url and blank screen.

I just tried to go to the forums and this popped up

"Account Suspended. Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible. "

Hope it gets back up. I want to see the stories from VF.

Hey bud,

Basically there were words between JR and Jim that I honestly didn't think would come to bringing the forum down but I guess it did. The room we had for the party was very small and only meant for a handful of people at a time. I missed the exchange by about an hour because I was down at the pit so I can't get into too many details because I wasn't there but that's the gist. I got the story second hand when I got back.

looks like someone is behind on their hosting bills...
damn pool is tough action in the usa, but the magazine biz is in even a tougher spot.

You think that he would have just deleted JimboLand section. Guess JR is just as much of an extremist as Jimbo. That is never a good match.

I know. My guess is that he brought the whole thing down to remove Jims section but I am still holding out hope that he reconsiders. I can't understand removing an entire forum because you have a beef with one guy. Not to mention, JR knew it was a small room and we couldn't have a bar load of people in there.
I do know that Jim was only trying to keep the peace so that we didn't get the boot.

I doubt thats the case.....


I've reached out to have a couple of people to make a couple of calls....


Its more than likely just a billing issue or a server problem.

Same here, I actually posted this morning and it went down shortly after, prolly around 8am.
 
Wow Koop, that sucks. I heard that it got a little out of hand on Saturday night, but I didn't hear this.

What am I gonna do with my lunch hour ? Who's gonna send me a free cue ? What good is an army without a base ? I feel so lost.

The funny thing is that the Jimbo forum built up viewership for JRs site, so why chomp the paw that brings in hits :confused:

Seems like if it was a server problem or someone not paying a bill in March (are websites paid yearly) - that would be a big coincidence to the occurrence from Saturday night.

The entire site is down, not just the jimbo section. Plus the entire site (including jimbo forum) was up and running fine this morning. It is more then likely a billing thing.
