I want to get my table recovered. The current pocket facings do not cover the whole rail and rubber.

When it gets recovered should they be replaced to cover the entire area and be flush with all surfaces/edges?

Are they supposed to be right to the point or does that affect the rebound for banking off the point?

Thanks

Dang, you guys are Great! I'm redoing my GCIII soon and was wondering the exact same question. Every covered table I look at either doen'tt have them exactly and some are way off,.. really had me scratching my head on which is best and if there was a good logical reason why most weren't and some even rounded at the nose.

Love this site and all the great mechanic's taking the time to share their knowledge for use home users, and inquirying minds.
