Don't know where to ask it, but this seems like the most appropriate spot....

I play with 60" cues -- 30" shaft, 30" butt

Which cases will hold my cues?

Right now I'm leaning towards the Instroke buffalo, but I do like the talisman....

Would hate to shell out $$$ for a case that won't work!

Thanks!

I have a 60 inch josey with a radial pin with 30 inch butt and 30 inch shaft. They fit perfect in my instroke.

Also if you have custom joint protectors, you'd better factor that in as well. With the joint protector, it might not fit in.

i think instroke says what size cue they'll handle on their site.

i've heard some bad things about talisman cases. i'd stick with the instroke

My Buffalo Instroke 3x5 holds my 60" cues w/joint protectors (and radial pin) just fine.

Can't speak to Talisman.

But can also add that I had to have my Whitten 2x4 custom made in order to handle my 60" cues. The standard would have been too short.

I went through this same thing a couple of months ago. I have a Mark Bear 60" (30/30) with radial pin. The butt of the cue, form rubber bumber to the top of the JP was 32" and none of the production leather cases worked. I tried Instroke, Talisman and everything else in between and no luck. What I found out is that the cases that claim to hold 60" cues will aslong as the butt of your cue does not exceed 31.5". So what I did is buy a cheap Action AC-35 will my custom leather case is being made.

I have a Talisman Tribal, and I love it. It fits my 60"er, and is a high quality case. No worries there at all.

Thanks for the advice guys! I think I'm gonna go with instroke. None of my cues are radial...so I should be good total length wise.

What is everyone's opinion on the buffalo?

I know there used to be a black/bright red instroke, but I can't seem to find it now. Was it discontinued? Instroke's website seems to be down right now...
