any idea what accu stat video's VHS's are worth from the 92-2000 time table? I have about 50 or so of them and was thinking of selling as a lot on E-Bayy .

What about other books/videos? Where is the best place to sell them? I have a homemade binder with about 300 pages of instructional articles/research that I put together some time ago. Would there be copy right laws if I copied it into PDF file and sold as an e-book? What about just the binder and all the articles it self?

Lastly I am trying to sell this Billiard Encylipida book; what is it worth?

Between 5-10 a peice if the shipping is resonable.
 
Cluster them together according to interest (like all the straight pools together, all the one pockets together, etc) and sell them in groups.

I think you can get a little more for them that way because people are willing to pay for the convenience of not having to fish for other videos that match their interest. It also would be a simpler and cheaper shipping arrangement and what's nice is that you're assured of getting something for ALL your videos rather than have a few sell and a few not. If you're selling 15 videos of 9-ball and someone has one of them, but wants the other 14, he'll just buy the package anyway and you've made a sale that you wouldn't have anyway.

Hell, it might even be worth it to group all 50 together as a 'starter pack' for someone looking to get into pool videos.

And yeah, for sure you'd be violating copyright if you gathered pieces of other copyrighted instructional stuff and then tried to sell it. You'd be on shaky ground even just offering it for free. However if you offer stuff that isn't in print anymore you might be ok.
 
Post what you have here (Wanted / For Sale section) with what price you expect and a lot of people might be interested. Whatever doesn't sell here you can put on Ebay. Accu-stats sells a lot of their older vhs tapes for half price on their site so I wouldn't expect more than that.

I'd be interested in any of your older matches I don't already have.

Unfortunately, the dust jacket is in poor condition. Typically, with a good DJ, this goes for $150 on eBay. I think you can expect about $120.
 
If that notebook contains any of my articles, you have permission to sell them (my articles at least) - as long as I am credited as the author of the articles and that there is a way to contact me if they wish to purchase more of my material or the books in their entirety. Just send me a PM with your name and contact info so that I can keep a record of it. (Let's pray that Russ Chewning doesn't hear about this). :p
 
Definately would violate copyright laws. I looked up the information on copyrights about a year ago, while putting together a hand-out for the opening of a local room. I was surprised at what I didn't know.

As others have pointed out, it's probably illegal to reproduce that material. Here is a summary of the law that looks pretty thorough:

Being out of print does not cancel the copyright or you would see pirated editions of Winning One Pocket advertised in the pool mags. I think there is no problem selling the binder of original articles clipped from their original sources.
