Thats easy, instructors can give you the tools but as far as who will make you a champion, its YOU
(sorry I dont know any instructors in the UK)
Since you were asking elsewhere about U.S. coaches, I assume you don't mind broadening your perspective with a snooker coach.

A great pool instructor
Hey JC, I guess I agree with the posts that say only you can make yourself a champion, but there is a very good coach who just moved back to the UK from Asia, Alan Bell. Alan grew up as a snooker player and coached professional snooker players in the UK until switching to pool several years back. He was my teacher but more importantly I saw really good pool players coming to him for lessons in Thailand where we both lived the past several years. I wrote about him and recommended him in my book, "Bangkok Pool Blues".
