Yeah, that video was from 2013, it's not "new". I don't think anything became of it though, probably flopped because we haven't heard about it since.
 
That seemed like a shady league from the start. He was claiming that there would be over twice as much prize money paid out in Las Vegas as the APA pays. That's quite an assertion for the first year of a new league. The APA has been around for decades and took a lot of time to build up the major events in Las Vegas. The handicap based ball-in-hand system just seems crazy to me. I don't see how it can work.
 
Is it called the Miracle League. Things your APA didn't tell you ? :grin-square:

Sigel came to a place near me to talk about this league a while ago, 3 people showed up, me, my son and a friend I told about it. And a couple of random players that wandered over to see what was going on.

I don't know of any players in my area that have ever talked about this league.

I saw him demonstrate it on Pat Fleming's game show and I liked the bih part, seems like a good way to take sandbagging out of the game.

As established as APA is I doubt it will catch on but I liked his idea better than APA's rules.
