The ICCS show, the Granddaddy of all cue shows....

This year`s eleventh annual International Cue Collector Show (ICCS) will be held in Las Vegas in early November. Many of the world`s top cuemakers will be in attendance with new cues for sale, and many of the top cue collectors from all over the world will have some of their phenomenal cues on display out of their collections that will include cues from all across the years.

Each year, the exhibiting cuemakers can voluntarily participate in a Special Collection of cues, typically themed to represent the region of the country in which the show is being held. This year the Special Collection is The Gambler Cues, and will possibly represent the best gathering of Gambler themed cues in one location ever....and ALL are for sale individually in a unique silent auction that will run for most of the show, with the auction ending Saturday afternoon. The Special Collection is a lot of fun, with outstanding cues, and I expect this year`s show to be a memorable one as well.

The event is open to the public on Saturday, November 3, from about noon until approximately 6:00pm. Show schedule details will be published in the very near future. There is a small entry fee for the Saturday public show, likely about $10, and all the ICCS displaying Cuemakers and exhibiting Collectors really enjoy talking "cues" all day long.

More information will be published in the very near future.

Hi Ralf,

Because each cuemaker entry into the Special Collection portion of the show is voluntary each year, we do not ask for an advance commitment, and we all find out at the same time who has made a cue for the Special Collection, at the Show.

I'm so glad the ICCS has come to my neck of the woods. I'm in California but it's only a 4hr drive to Vegas ! Thanks Will It's been great talking with you and it will be fun to finally start meeting some of you as well. Not going to do the extra golf, ect the days prior but will definitely be their Saturday to shoot the SxxT with everyone and that silent auction I can't wait to see who is coming with some cues, I'm ready to do some bidding. This is going to be so much FUN. Dan

Wow!!!

Gambler cues--sounds terrific.

Hopefully I will make this event some year.

Hi Dan,

Take as many pictures as your camera can hold! And post them all.

Will was nice enough to answer some questions I had about this show. I had no idea how spectacular this event is!!!

It really is "as good as it gets".

OK, so where in Vegas will this show be held?

Frankly, my preference would be at Best Billiards. The owner has done lots for pool in Vegas. The room is great. The food as good as it gets. A full bar. Private rooms. A relatively safe location. What more could a player / collector / maker ask for?

Red Rock Resort

Had our National Lotus Car Club convention there last year. May be a Station Casino but it really is a nice place to visit. Visitors should be very satisfied with the surroundings. Only down side? Too far from The Strip and all of Las Vegas' pool rooms. Closest is Pool Sharks at Decator and Spring Mountain.

Beautiful cues or sisters wedding. This is going to be a tough call.

if people are selling cues there, why is there such a short window for the public to come in?

Its hosted by and generally for the most prestigious cue collectors world wide. The cues generally start somewhere around 4/5 thousand and (often dramatically) go up from there.

Its just not intended for the general public. The "Dinner" plates alone are usually something like $200 a plate.
