I have not paid much attention to anything besides the straight pool but I just noticed that some big names are missing from this event such as SVB and Woodward. Did they completely skip this event or are they only doing the nineball side of things?

They can't play every event. This just didn't fit some schedules. I don't like it either as Pat has done EVERYTHING for pool but i get it.

SVB and Woodward are playing this evening, lol. Schedule is available at digitalpool if you want to know who plays when - get the PPV and you can watch their matches and several others.

Sigel has a ton of personality and he's one of the greatest players of all time.........

I believe he also likes to bass fish.........

I think the turning point was when Oliver missed a routine 2 ball (long but not hard) when he was ahead 2-1. Very unexpected.

Funny you mention the dress code. I don't care for the race car outfits they all seem to be wearing.

I actually didn’t see too many of those.

I guess the 1pocket guys have more sedate tastes, lol.

I'll be honest, I have not kept up with anything pool in the last few months. So if they played another event, I was unaware of their decision.

It's scheduled for the arena table so I assume it will be on YouTube - if the outage issue affecting PPV right now is resolved.
