International Open 9-Ball 2024, St. Augustine, FL, Nov. 18-22

A few photos from yesterday. That light array over the TV table is bright as hell. Gonna need my hat today.

The rounds/sessions are really spread out. Do pros really like events stretched out this much?

I've watched every Feijin video on his YouTube channel the past three years. The guy puts in a ton of working making them. Very impressive the quality of his teaching - and what he is teaching.

You can see he is extremely fit, more so than almost anyone on the circuit. He is an avid distance biker among other things. Forget his age. He can still play at an extremely high level.

Yet because he is a family man now, he has only been been playing part of the time on the pro circuit. He has acknowledged it has hurt his game.

Watching him play, he rarely loses badly. Most of his losses are close.

Still, he does make a few more key mistakes at critical times than he has in the past. He made a big mistake up 9-8 vs Filler that almost cost him. That's a result of his playing less.

If only Wiktor had Neils' mental fortitude ... but he has time.
 
On Doggin it, Panazzo said the players who eschewed Vietnam because of the WPA conflict and players on the WNT side largely kept their distance from each other away from the table. Some, he said, wouldn't even look at each other.

A shame, really.

And even that mistake against Filler amounted to missing perfect position on the 7 by less than 2 inches. If he'd been just a smidgen further off the rail he would've easily finished the rack.
 
Can someone post a link to buy the PPV?
On the International site, it takes you to some service that's "free" then $60 a month after that.
Includes movies and all kinds of stuff.
Is there any option to just buy 1 or 2 days like other PPV's?
Is the "free" 3 days for real?

I really enjoy watching his product. The dude is providing a free stream, so it makes sense that he runs his own commercials; shows you some cues he has for sale. How is that any different than a sponsorship ad on a pool podcast or a banner at the top of this forum?

I am planning on griding through the additional events as well banks, one pocket and the 14.1 I have three machines available to co produce content.
