I think at this time it doesn't do much good for the players to indulge in speculation, nor to launch into overly strong public criticisms or speculation about the situation.
To my knowledge, none of us has received a 'be quiet' or any similar communication from the IPT. Though if Bernie did, he would have half expected it.
I think most that appear here have stated dissatisfaction with communication and the late payments.
If the players are organizing in any way, it's appropriate to keep that private at this stage, rather than to join in with the mob in shaking fists and hurling abuse, or making satirical remarks.
For those on the outside looking on, I don't blame you much for venting the frustration. But those of us who are not sure how the future will develop, it's probably best at this stage, in my opinion anyway, to keep a bit of distance and to try to work out what is going on, and what will be the next step.
Most of us are none too bright regarding the legal issues and what might be considered a breach of agreement with the IPT, so it's probably better to stay on the safe side of things. And that doesn't necessitate being either gutless or a quisling, but rather that we prefer to observe temperence in public declarations.
