IPT World Qualifiers Entry Increased - More Lies?

That's the point, she is the one who has decided that one needs to prove they are qualified as a player to have an opinion.

While my fingers are in full gear, I am increasingly noticing that your forum personality, in particular your prose, is laced with similarities of monkey prose I have read on other website(s).

Using her logic, since she can't play a lick she has no right to any opinion in fact far less then most on here. See how ridicules that sounds. If she doesn't like what someone says she gets personal or goes crying to Mr. Wilson, childish was the right word, groupie may have been me sinking to her level, I apologized if I offended you.

I got news for you, Pal. I'll call Mr. Wilson out if and when I am offended by you, as I have done in the past. No need to re-hash, cut and paste, and show proof, as the forum record speaks for itself.

And to dear Watchez, we've danced this dance before. I got news for you too. I ain't anybody's "sidekick." I'm Jennie from Dietle's, and don't you forget it.

Let's see. Is there anybody I forgot? Oh. Timberly, thanks for stepping up to the plate on my behalf. :)

And, just for you, Macguy: Oh, Mr. Wilson?

You actually believe you are above her level. LOL

So what level does this post of yours put you? You may think you were being clever but you are just exhibiting the same childish behavior I just pointed out. All of our posts speak for themselves.

1ST- Thanks for thinking of me as dear. Any well wishes by anyone are appreciated.

2ND- The only time I dance with a girl/woman is when I am trying to get them into bed or with a close relative at a wedding. You are taken plus I am not attracted so no dancing.

3RD- When did I call you a "sidekick"? I quickly re read my posts & don't see where I used that term. I defended that you were not a groupie. I could never call you a sidekick and be correct. A sidekick is someone that stands beside someone, ie Panco Villa with Don Quixote, TONTO with The Lone Ranger, Robin with Batman. The only time I saw you, I don't ever remember you being at Keith's side. You mostly were following him around where ever he went. I don't know if they have a term for that....backkick?? That doesn't sound right. Someone help me out on the correct term.

4TH- What is Dietle? I did a google search & think it might be part of Somerset County in PA? Is that suppose to be intimidating? I'm lost. I'm from Canarsie and I don't think most people would walk down the block I grew up on.

5TH- Three people have stated that they agree my comment to Linda was not meant to be offensive. Simply to get her to view things from another side. No one has come out & stated they agree with your way of thinking & the connotation you have put on my words. Even Timberly chose to talk only about calling you a groupie, nothing towards my question to Linda.

You can have an intelligent conversation without turning into some intimidation contest by calling someone 'pal' or a 'monkey' and lower this to a redneck drunken bar discussion. You should try it sometime.

It is difficult to ascertain the tone when the words are in black and white. I am pleased that you appreciate receiving well wishes. :p

Again, the words when written are often misinterpreted. :(

"China woman." That's the term I use. I'm usually 20 steps behind him. Good observation. I'm 52. It's hard to keep up. :p

In other words, I was playing pool before you were even a mere itch.

LOL. A little tag-teaming doesn't hurt either. You're the gentleman who enjoys reading Macguy's posts in the Cue section. Just one big happy family! :)

I don't really know what you mean by one big happy family, or the tag-teaming comment. I don't know him personally, never corresponded with him personally.

Yes, I read the cuemaker forum, and MacGuy often makes some very informative posts there.

And if it is, it is Linda's prerogative to entertain qualifying. Of course, that won't be necessary if she retains her card this season.

Leave Linda alone and pick on somebody who plays at your level. As you mentioned previously that you are currently taking lessons from a coach and have not yet learned how to draw the cue-ball, this discussion is out of your league.

What kind of weight would you like to play some, for say $1500 a set. I need qualifier entry money. Better make it $3000.

I believe Kelly was just correcting my example. Tonto was the sidekick of the Lone Ranger. I got my indians crossed up.

Again, I never called you sidekick. I can't find the record. Please don't put words in my mouth (or on my keyboard).

I am still confused on this Dietle. If JAM refuses to give a clear answer will some other expert fill me in. Is this the name of a famous pool room I should know about? Laugh at me, I never heard of it. If this is a pool room--JAM, how much money did you win there over the years playing pool? That would be a good story I would like to hear.

Well Folks

I gotta run! I am gonna go home and kiss my lovely wife and take her to champions for some dinner and some pool. I would like to thank all of you for the entertainment. Remember, Purdman loves you all!!
Good Night, Purdman:cool:

Well, unknownpro, are ya' talkin' t'me? :p

Since I haven't hit a ball since I got spanked by Mike Davis spotting me the 3 and out, then the 2 and out, and then all the breaks with the 2 and out, I'm going to have to think long and hard about this. :o

It's a little difficult for me to come up with a good game against a guy named "Unknownpro."

However, if you would like to let me have a pinch shooter, I'm definitely in. :D

Is that the new Champions? I like the Rack'em Burger with a side house salad, instead of the fries.

Good night, Purdman!:)

NON-PLAYERS??????
Yeah, now that you mention it, I suppose you could call Reyes, Archer, Strickland, Fisher (both of them), and all the rest "non-players". It wouldn't be very accurate, but you certainly could call them that.
Steve
I've beaten all those guys. I'd love to play Allison or Kelly. They might beat me at 8-ball. They might beat anybody. But I like my chances with them at any pocket game with a cue stick.

Everybody doesn't have a qualifier in their backyard and a boatload of money to go gamble on the IPT.

I meant no offense, not even to the ONE. I never called him a shortstop, he's just arrogant about snooker, but I've seen that he has a sense of humor, so I'm sure he's not offended. You guys just kind of ticked me off defending fraud and implying that those peopled getting shafted deserve it in some way.

I like your style! :D

Being that this is a 3-day weekend and I've got nowhere to go, I'd love to entertain a game of stakes.

If you decide to accept this mission, then I can negotiate a game with you when we meet up, face to face. I don't care if you're Efren Reyes, Unknownpro, I'm pretty sure we can match up with a game we will both enjoy. ;)

My pockets are full, and my pinch shooter needs to hit some balls. I'd rather sweat the game anyway. My feet are swollen. :o

Yeah, tell him to practice. See if you can get him to straighten up that crooked stroke while you're at it, lol! He'll have to promise not to go off on me like he did Dennis Hatch when Dennis (accidentally I'm sure) sharked him in that hill-hill match in Olathe. I was worried about Dennis there for a minute.

Are you sure you want to risk being thrown off the highly professional IPT by violating the gambling clauses of the players association?

unknownpro

I don't understand why people are bashing the IPT?

Pretty stupid if you ask me.

What do people care if players and the IPT agree to these terms? If the IPT raises the amount, and the players still pay and play and find it ok - that's between THEM. Why is this a point of contention?

It is like someone jumping inbetween me and a cashier at Circuit City register and *****ing that their Circuit City Visa is a ripoff deal. Why do they care?

Players can vote with their wallets and cues and refuse to pay and refuse to play. It's that simple. Free market economics. They choose to go there. If you think the players are being exploited or victimized...well, tough - they're big kids now and they don't feel they are being exploited or victimized anymore than some fatguy stuffing a BigMac down his throat 3 times a week...

If you just want to have another reason to bash the IPT, that's fine but the IPT will go on regardless of what any one person thinks or says.

I'm not an IPT lover, but it does seem promising. I'm not going to bash something that hasn't even started yet. Other tours and sports took years, some DECADES to reach the status they have today. The IPT hasn't even had its first major tournament. I dislike some rules, but guess what? I'm not an IPT player - so who cares. There are some good things, some bad things, but over all - this is undeniably the biggest thing to hit pool in this country EVER. Give it a chace. KT is right when he says that people are big critics, but they haven't done anything themselves to improve the sport.
