What's the difference between an irish linen wrap and a pressed or even double pressed irish linen wrap? How is the linen "pressed?"
The reason I ask is that I was talking to a guy about the wrap on my cue, which I believe is double pressed irish linen. He was convinced that because it felt different from his unpressed linen wrap, that it was coated like a Meucci. I knew that wasn't the case, but I was having trouble explaining the difference to him. Then it occurred to me that I don't know what the process is that makes the wrap slick like that, and I got curious.
Thanks!
