TOO HIGH! I have no idea what the fair price is for them, but 65 just seems ridiculous for ANY cue ball. What does the whole set go for? Get the whole set, and resell the set with a standard cue ball. Then keep the dotted ball from the set for yourself.

Just did some checking, it looks like the whole set with the new cueball goes for 145 with shipping on ebay. And the sets without the new cueball go for 115. So maybe it is worth paying 65 if you don't want a new set or don't want to deal with the hassle of selling a set as I previously suggested. But paying 45% of the full set price for just a cueball seems ridiculous to me.

Heck, for $65, I'd buy an IVORY cue ball for my collection! If you want one those measle balls bad enough, then go ahead. I don't see what those measle balls got over an ole red or blue dot cue ball myself.

JMO, it's your money.

In the "Wanted/For Sale" forum, Mika888 responded to your request for the spotted cue ball, saying he had two of them at $30 each...sounds more reasonable to me.

You can buy them at Mueller for $13,95.
If you buy four or more they are $9,95.

Are you sure about that? I thought Aramith stopped selling them individually. At any rate, I think 65 bucks would be way too much to pay, but if you want one badly enough and can't find it anywhere any price is right.

Mass destruction?

DCP: you haven't started breaking cb's as well as cues, have you? lol

Echo what everyone else has said, $65 is highway robbery.

i called Mueller's, and they said they no longer sell this cue ball individually. so that idea is out.

i also checked with a major midwest billiard/pool store, and they said it only came with a set, and good luck at finding one individually.

may have to pay the $65 after all.
