it's not worth spending $40 on a $100 cue. especially if it's a cuetec. you could probobly go on ebay and pick up another used one for not much more. your best bet is to go with th McD's. get a real wood cue and start out that way. if you like those you can begin to experiment later on down the road with other makers and/or ld shafts. leave the graphite crap alone and don't throw half of the purchase price towards fixing a cheap cue.
