Is Kamui Chalk Really Just Ladies Make-Up ?

To put this theory to a test I stole all my wife's different make-ups and experimented with it on several cue tips.

THE TEST. #1 I never miscued one time with any of the eye shadows (Eye Shadows is what I determined to be the best bet to use as a chalk substitute so that is what I used on all my tests. ( I stayed pretty close to center ball most of the time) BUT it did leave nasty color marks on my cue ball which I had to clean after every test.

THE TEST. #2 I tried cutting the eye shadows with a little talk which did yield better results when I tried extreme English but I did miscue on the 7th shot the 1st try, the 5th shot the 2nd try and never out of 10 on the 3rd try. Was the miscue the make-ups fault or my own I don't really know but it still left nasty marks on the CB and DO NOT LET OT GET ON YOUR FELT as it stains it real bad.

RESULTS.... The make-up is greasy and yes way to greasy even when cut with talc for being effective on a tip. It leaves color and residue on the CB and it will stain your felt.

CONCLUSION... I need to stop trying to be an inventor after drinking a few (OK more than a few) shots of Jack Daniels. All I did is stain my cloth and get greasy color marks on my Cue Ball and probably ruined my tips and NO, Kamui Chalk is not Make-up. Oh, and 1 more thing. It was not a pleasant evening after my wife found out I used her make-up for these tests.

All it is, is ChapStick.

Next time you have a few shots of Jack, give it a whirl.

You're all good, as long as you don't start playing with electricity.

He has to throw the eye shadow, chapstick, and smurfs into the flux capacitor, and then zap it with 1.21 gigawats. And presto...you have kamui chalk!

EDIT: If you are somehow transported back in time...do not have sex with your grandma....Now that I said that you know you wannna....

If your experience is like mine, you'll be hearing from the Kamui enforcement team shortly. They'll try to strong-arm you, so be prepared to fight dirty.

Well if the fight is anything like the chalk then you should be able to get a lot of topics covered with just one post.

I don't know why it would be a problem since my experiments showed it is NOT just like ladies Make-Up....

You DONT want talc around a pool table anyways. It can stain everything white. I know, I used to bag 50lbs. bags of talc 12 hours a day. We also used it to make MOST to ALL makeup that Mabelline (sp?) makes today. I had white talc stains all over my car that would NOT come out.

If you are somehow transported back in time...do not have sex with your grandma

It would be kind of cool being your own Grandfather.

But then you'd have to live in a trailer park for the rest of your life.

I am not sure what it's made of, but it does have that consistency of the foundation some of the ladies use:thumbup:.

LIP GLOSS
is discriptive.

So, my wife walks into our poolroom the other day and says, "Honey, I'm out of eye makeup"....

Now, I miscue on every shot!

Bad plan as you will stain the cloth and likely ruin your tips like the OP did... Google bare minerals or cosmetic grade minerals and you will get more of an idea of what you are dealing with in Kamui chalk.... Highest quality minerals out there with the highest grade of abrasives...

Then you have the keys to the chalk which are the processes, equipment and binders....

Making Kamui grade chalk in your basement isn't likely going to happen unless you have an interesting assortment of lab equipment laying around... I am still looking for deals on a couple of pieces and have been looking for going on 2 years off and on at auctions.....

Irony of it is, when i first saw it i thought the same thing and tried the same thing and came to the same results. The real question here is will kamuii chalk work as ladies makeup?

Lol, this thread is cursed! All the posters are being banned or red-rep'ed one by one. Are they all different personalities of one guy? I feel like I've just watched the videotape from the ring, and now Mr. Wilson will come out of my Ipad and kill me.

It's a thread where people attempted to inject a little humour. Pool's, er, demographic is done with all this new fangled laughing.

Is Kamui chalk really 3 years old? Still best bang for buck in pool, no matter what anyone says.
