To put this theory to a test I stole all my wife's different make-ups and experimented with it on several cue tips.
THE TEST. #1 I never miscued one time with any of the eye shadows (Eye Shadows is what I determined to be the best bet to use as a chalk substitute so that is what I used on all my tests. ( I stayed pretty close to center ball most of the time) BUT it did leave nasty color marks on my cue ball which I had to clean after every test.
THE TEST. #2 I tried cutting the eye shadows with a little talk which did yield better results when I tried extreme English but I did miscue on the 7th shot the 1st try, the 5th shot the 2nd try and never out of 10 on the 3rd try. Was the miscue the make-ups fault or my own I don't really know but it still left nasty marks on the CB and DO NOT LET OT GET ON YOUR FELT as it stains it real bad.
RESULTS.... The make-up is greasy and yes way to greasy even when cut with talc for being effective on a tip. It leaves color and residue on the CB and it will stain your felt.
CONCLUSION... I need to stop trying to be an inventor after drinking a few (OK more than a few) shots of Jack Daniels. All I did is stain my cloth and get greasy color marks on my Cue Ball and probably ruined my tips and NO, Kamui Chalk is not Make-up. Oh, and 1 more thing. It was not a pleasant evening after my wife found out I used her make-up for these tests.
