Two things. First of all Buzz Aldrin was once confronted by someone (about 20 years ago) who told him that his Moon landing was a hoax. Buzz responded by punching the guy in the nose! No charges were filed.

Second, I had the pleasure to meet Buzz Aldrin about 25 years ago at an event in Marina del Rey. After he said hello to me, my first words were "You went to the Moon." His response, "And I got back too!" I never forgot that moment. I realized that to someone standing on the Moon looking back at Earth, they would very much like to return home safe.

Why on this one issue though? All reasonable and objective measures will clearly demonstrate that civilians owning firearms is a massively and obviously stupid idea, and yet..............

But flat earth trolls? Yeah lets pile on that one because that's "outlandish".

Bum is a term generally reserved for vagrants, homeless and the like. Would it surprise you to know I am a homeowner, and not a bum? Care to pick another insult from your no doubt extensive repertoire? I know it would kill you to not have the last word, so fire away!

Buzz Aldrin is one of my heroes....that’s one of my beefs against landing deniers. That guy he hit had been stalking him for quite a while before Buzz clocked him...calling him a fake and a liar countless times.

a bunch of us poker players had a moon landing party all day...played penny poker. :)
 
Don't forget the hard work of Nazi-scientists who were instrumental in this achievement. Though the motivations and means of the moon landing may have been highly questionable, it certainly was the biggest moment in the scientific development of mankind. So enormous that even today it seems almost impossible, especially given the severe technical limitations. There were both heroes and villains in this story:

I would think Americans were even more instrumental in our trip to the moon, ask Robert Goddard (born in Mass) what he thinks.
