Is Rasson making a better table than Diamond and GC?

No they are not. Like Jay said about the rubber, it was the exact same thing last year at Mosconi Cup in 2016. Not to mention the table rolled of very bad but that doesn’t mean it’s not a good table. I won’t mention names but halfway in between matches I was talking to two players on Team Europe & they said it’s amaing how our biggest event in pool is played on this equipment. Just saying.

Aluminum is great and all especially for like...... airplanes but I want my table to be good old fashioned wood. A Gold Crown will do me just fine thank you. Was gonna say if the Mosconi Cup was supposed to be a big introduction to the US , I think they failed miserably by the way that table looked like it played as well as comments of those that were on that table.

On a plus side, I was gonna say the leveling system SEEMS very cool and without knowing a great deal about leveling a table it makes you wonder why a system like that took so long to come out? Is it because it isn't needed on the wood tables but is needed on a table that can regularly shift by 1/16"" ? Don't know, time will tell. I did notice however Rasson has been a banner sponsor right here on AZ for awhile now for whatever that's worth.

Happened to me 100 times on many different tables and I stood in awe

If you watch the video posted earlier in this thread you will see that the six ball was air born and just caught enough of the top of the pocket to bounce it back on the table instead of going on the floor.

The coefficient of thermal expansion for aluminum is roughly 0.000013 in/in per degree F. Say the lengthwise main beams are 9 ft. long and the table was assembled 70 degrees. How much would it change in length at say 100 degrees?

30 degree temp change x 9 ft x 12in/ft x .000013 in/in per degree F = 0.042". In just 30 degrees, that piece of aluminum expanded almost 1/16".

Aluminum alloy professor.

I would have much preferred seing them playing on a Diamond but what can you do when sponsorships are in play? Money talks.

Hope to see you playing next MC, Justin.

Looks like the cushions are the cheaper set of Artemis.
K66 profile, not the K55.
No wonder it's slow even with new cloth.
Meh!
