Not one person on this thread saw Mosconi’s run.
The naysayers take that 526 run as gospel. Additionally, ey want to watch every second of the JS626 run for a possible foul.
I guarantee nobody watched Mosconi with that level of scrutiny- why would they? It was an exhibition.
It is obvious JS has the skill to do it- the BCA certified it- nobody viewing it in the Billiard peanut gallery is a requirement for a certification.
It is the new official high run- it’s over xRockx.

This is incorrect, 'the run' I think u must be referring to the chopped video open only to the 'semi public' smokey mirrored theater hollywood production. This is a long way from verifiable footage. Limited potential for sales = an attempt to downplay a true run of 626, sales potential depends on marketing skills. Hiding any verifiable evidence to this 626 'claim' is not really a winning marketing strategy, I never thought j.s. was much of a winner any hue. He did a run alright - and is continuing to - from the the truth - that the 626 = a lie.

True - but one must prove the claim to be genuine - or else no record, a private theater showing of some weird chopped video does not = verifiable proof. Claiming to have surpassed Mosconi's 526 on camera = great power, with great power comes great responsibility. I see zero responsibility for their drive by media claim - I am not alone either.
Just for the future record book - In Straight Pool - it is better than ok to 'manufacture a break ball' - often times it is imperative to do so. In terms of Truthful or responsible journalism it is not ok to manufacture a media lie that a semi public name has surpassed 526 - ON CAMERA - and then hide any genuine evidence from serious Straight Pool enthusiasts. Trying to corrupt American Sports History Record - is not going to get swept under the rug.
I guess it was getting late in the game for j.s and charlie i.e. (hall of fame banquet). I did notice in many interviews with John (TAR) he seemed to mention Mosconi's name alot, even referencing me on Mosconi's level - after I defeated him handily in 14.1? Could it be that his pardners were telling him to mention Mosconi's name often when being interviewed - as they had future plans to steal Willie's record - using j.s. as their business model - WOW? I would get a job digging in a ditch before trying to fabricate lies associated with 14.1 - to the people. Him and charlie sold out in someway, as for bca,j.s.,predcue co, and charlie - what goes around - comes around and what comes around - knocks you down.

As if anything in pool had a decade-long action plan. Pool couldn't even provide acceptable return for TAR to stay...and we are to believe it engineered the theft of an obscure record for the opportunity to sell 25 $50 tickets at a time...to see the vid charles Harriman says doesn't exist?

Do u marvel' at all the questions surrounding the legitimacy of this 626 claim - without any un edited footage available for public to see as proof? Also do u think it would be a heroic gesture to allow public to see proof of the claim? - It would be a heroic move to present unedited evidence that the claim is in fact true - after having the public wait for two years. I will say what many are thinking - there is NO UNEDITED TAPE - I guess standing up for the truth is not sold in yer comic book store - directly.

Ther is alot u don't know little tony. They have no unedited video = they have no New Record - Mosconi's 526 stands, c.w. and j.s drive by media's hidden disc of 626 will fail to stand the test of time. When a player does actually surpass 526 - and is able to capture the run on unedited video - the footage will not be hidden from plain sight - i.e. legit, it WILL be out in the open and available for purchase in disc form. When this happens there will be a new hall of fame - and j.s,bca,c.w corrupt business model will fade into the background - where it belongs. This new emerging Straight Pool Record holder will be a true Champ, not just some racket trying to hustle the public to make a quick buck or two.
