Didn't you tell me that you had a 1.5 hour conversation with Jose? Surely something regarding these issues must have come up during that conversation!

Criticism is only "bashing" if it is taken personally, not constructively. Actually it doesn't matter to me anymore since I've given up on this tour. I never win any money anyway! :grin:

If what you say is true about their attitude regarding the forums, then I think they truly don't realize or appreciate its potential.

I also know that a lot of us are judging them based on their performance and participation on these forums. And the judgements have been harsh...perhaps deservedly so.

Again, I truly don't think they understand the impact and effect of their combined inaction on the forums.

I think it is up to us local boys who have access, to educate them and begin changing their perceptions of the Web.

If you go to a Planet Pool event you will not get the impression that they don't care, and they really don't realize how dependent some of us have become on the forums as a useful (and free) tool for promoting our game.

Just a recommendation.

Please don't adopt the attitude that "they should know better"...not everyone is an Internet-savvy as some of the AZ members.

Let's help them...it will only help us in the immediate future.

I talked to them face to face , and that was not the first time ,, ,I tried to explain to them what the area players are saying and what is being said here and was basicly given the brush off , when 28 showed it was because thier where other events in thier opinion

Jose posts the turny but does not bump it it gets shuffled back , I told them I will bump it up if I see it on the players behalf thats all I can do

I emailed Mike and spoke with Jose on the phone...

...and I will only say this.

If anyone has any concerns whatsoever with their tour, or the way they handle their tour, please feel free to contact them directly.

They do not view the forums as we do, for better or worse.

So, Jose has made it quite clear that he welcomes a phone call from anyone who would like to discuss anything at all. He has said in no uncertain terms that his policies are an open book and he has no problems discussing them with anyone.

Mike has made it quite clear that he has done his job in helping to revive pool in the MD/DC/VA area by re-establishing a well-known tour, giving the people what they want (choices), and doing this on top of having a full-time job.

Again, and I cannot say this enough, they do not view the forum usage as we do, so complaining online will get you nowhere.

Before you start complaining about that, just call them.
