Jimmy, buy that Kornele sounds like a good buy. He worked for Verl Horn. Then you can buy that horn I have :D :D

Hahaha

I actually DID buy the kornele i will post pics on here, Let me start working again before we talk about the horn ;)

And you got the cue that Kornele and Willingham had made. That was a good buy and I was looking to get that cue....I had two Kornele cues and just sold one, but they are great cues.

As for the McDermott....I think it's a little high for what those early models are selling for at the moment.

The Mcd Is Way Overpriced, Imo. I Can't See Anybody Paying That For That Cue.

The Kornele Is A Better Buy.

Bluebook, page 490 has the cue dated 1980 and 98% condition is $1600. 90% is 1200. 70% is $750. Just an FYI.

I agree with others though, I wouldn't be spending that kind of money on that cue. It seems to be a soft market and with the quality of cues for sale just on here, you can get alot more for $1600. Much much more.

Also, if you are looking for a cue with playing cards, just for the cards, the older meucci gamblers are nice and if located are far less expensive. I am not saying meucci is better then mcd, just tossing out the other option you may not be aware of.

The Blue Book Is Useless. The Prices In It Were Set By Dealers/collectors To Benefit Themselves.

If You Look Through There Are Cuemakers Values That Are Listed Way To High (somebody That Contributed To The Book Supplied Those Values)

And Some That Are Way To Low (no One Associaed With The Book Has A Financial Intrest In Those Cues)

They Also Asked Cuemakers/manufacturers To Supply Pricing For Their Own Cues, Which Is Even Worse.

Imo....that Mcd Listed Would Probably Bring Half Of What They Are Asking, And That's Still Only To The Right Buyer
