Is this a made in the USA Predator cue?

To my knowledge none ofthe production models were ever produced in the USA. Falcon cues out of Canada produced Falcon cues from the 1990's until Falcon Closed it's doors and moved to China. Predator also followed suit, and move their operation to China. To my knowledge the shaft blanks / dowels have always been made in China.

Outside of a few limited Custom cues made by Pechauer Custom Cues and a few others all Predator products have been out sourced.

The blanks were made in Jacksonville up until the last couple of years, I can attest to that. Then they were sent to an outside supplier for turning after the blanks were made, we used different companies that were based in Canada and the US, never China until recently.

how about the 1st additions they were made in the us right.

I thought they were all made in the US before going to China.... shows you what I know.

They made 1st editions of almost every cue line they came out with, they were made by their respective suppliers. So if the main line was made by Falcon in Canada then the 1st editions were made in Canada also.

The first few batches of a given cue are designated as "first editions" and are held in higher regard than the regular cues. They are not different in any way other than the marking "1st Edition" but are more collectable to some and usually command a higher dollar when being sold.

If anybody has any questions about older Predator cues/shafts or anything I should be able to answer 90%+ of them with a good degree of accuracy.

how can you determine what line a 1st addition came from.

When you say Blanks, what are you speaking of exactly, Shafts or Butts. If so which cue maker was making the blanks in Florida?

Hey Neil,

What's up? long time no see....

wasn't the first line of Predator (1996) butts made by Joss before moving it to Falcon?

Hey Skor,

Actually it was made by McDermott, you can tell by the butt cap and weight bolt system which is different from Falcon. How are things going?
