I love this^^^. Go directly to the deep end of the pool. If you see water, jump. Not a bad way to live.

Embrace the failure :banghead:
Seriously, the amount of cues I have tossed in the dumpster, the beautiful woods I have ruined, all just because I had an idea. The cues I make now are the result of the failures I have encountered and continue to encounter. It's growth. It's having an open mind and willingness to be wrong. Whether it be how to use certain woods, polish a finish, center a shaft blank, or configure a new design, it all takes stepping out of my comfort zone & risking loss to learn. I don't even really know what it is i'm chasing, or have an end game. I'm just fascinated with cues and enjoy learning.
