Is Warren Kiamco the most prolific top player now?

Warren Kiamco is like Michael Caine of pool .LOL He is ubiquitous and appears in every top tournament and usually finishes in the money. I mean everytime I look at ongoing tournament anywhere in the world his name is there. China Open he was there and was one of 3 remaining Filipino players deep into tourney. He played countless qualifiers in W9b in Doha and finished in the money. He was at Hardtimes, was invited to CSI invitational , popped up in tux in World 14.1, then now back in Philippines playing MP Cup Gensan singles. He is regular fixture at Steinway, DCC, US Open
I mean this guy is a truly global player and will play everywhere and anywhere. All the players probably know him and he has probably play with every top player out there.
Plus he is also doing quite well in AZB prizemoney list consistently in top 10 to 20. Hats off to this Warrior !!
Who else is more prolific then Kiamco?
:D

A good guy too, he played pool with my son for an hour or so when he was at the Beloit tournament.

Your right!

He might not be the strongest of the Philipinos, but he can play and he does compete with anybody. A good cash player and a great tournament player. I have never heard a bad word about him.

I like his execution at the table and everyone must admit, he doesn't run his mouth. Seems like a real gentleman.

Saw him make many tremendous shots in the Bonus Ball matches too (I only watched a few)

Great guy that's been around a long time, real tough in a cash match

He is the most underrated pinoy player I would say.

You never hear his name mention when someone talks about great players, I think he is one of our great players.

If they gave him a chance to play in one of them 2 man tournaments, then all the people would see how great he really is.

Kiamco vs Earl or Kiamco vs SVB ,I would think Shane would be a little to strong for Kiamco but it would be a great match to watch and a lot of us would see just how good Kiamco really is!

Shane dominates Kiamco. I don't know if Kiamco has ever beat Shane.

Kiamco is a very good pro. Almost totally emotionless at the table. It was fun to watch Earl and Warren on the same team for Bonus Ball. Talk about a contrast! Earl would go off about something and Warren would just look at him like "why are you getting so upset?"

In terms of Warren traveling all over. I don't know how these guys do it in many ways. One, how can they afford it? Two, I would be miserable living out of suitcase 300 days of the year. Besides the obvious talent one needs to be a pro, the adjusting to the reality of being on the road all the time must be very tough

Agreed 100%. Kiamco will always be in the mix of any cue sport tourney be it on a barbox( and to his credit barboxes are almost non-existent like snooker tables in the Philippines) or 9 footers, His notable win the Japan Championships( international tourney) and in the USA the Johnny Archer Classic. But unknown to many Warren was the Champion in the 2007 Villar Cup beating Efren Reyes in the Finals.

No

The answer is no he is not. Unless the criteria was who consistantly cashed but did not win anything and even then the correct answer would be Mike D.

My thoughts as well...Definitely not the most prolific, but an overall great player that's always up there with the best.

Umm..not to take anything away from svb, but kiamco has beaten him and soundly..even in a finals match for the tournament....check out the johnny archer classic in 2012...Kiamco 11 to SVB 2...almost skunked in a finals

Ralf Souquet. Plays all the major stuff in the US and Asia, plays all the Matchroom events and plays all the Eurotour events, and plays in the major team events globally.

Sorry, didn't know that. I once saw Shane interviewed for a TAR podcast and he said that Kiamco is the one great player that he basically always beats. He made it sound like he has never lost to him.

Yeah I saw that interview too...a little too cocky of shane to say that no matter how true the statement is. Either or... yes, shane is on the upside of their matchups, but he doesnt beat him everytime..

Warren barbequed Shane a couple years ago in the finals at Johnny Archers Tournament in Marrietta GA. Its on Utube....Warren played damn near perfect.....Shane wasn't liking it much.

At the last Derby, Warren was standing around on Sun like he was waiting for a ride to the air port, I had rented a car and asked if he wanted to come along, he said sure. We were crowded but made room for him, when I let them off at the airport he handed me $30, I gave it back but he insisted I take it, I though then that he had class and was one of the good guys. Warren Is A True Gentlemen

It was Lunch Time at California Billiard Club in Mountain View Ca..
Warren said he had some Filipino food in his room.
He heated up the food and served me a plate.
After about two minutes.

Warren said Bernardo, I thought you were Filipino?
I said I am, Warren then said, "Well why aren't you eating with your Hands".
I laughed and started eating with my hands.

Warren is a great pool player, but a even a greater person.

CBC should be opening soon in Fremont Ca..
Chris, my partner is working hard on getting it ready.
