I'm leaving at noon. I am in NC, so it might take 12-15 hours. I have that $40 just burning a hole in my pocket.

The reason people don't gamble as much as they did years ago is because of the harassment by those who want to gamble (not saying you do that, I don't know). I've seen it dry up in a room once and that was the main reason.

That is, gamblers ruin their own action by their own actions.

If their attitude changes real quick and they're chomping at the bit all of a sudden, then don't play them or you will be paying their mortgage.

Try the first tee at a local golf course on Saturday morning between 6-8 am....you may need more than $40 though. No problem getting cheap action around here, but the golf course is better action than the poolhall IMO. Don't try the I'll bet anything you want on pool action even if you're willing to double it on the golf course even though...that doesn't work for me (probably because there are only two guys around here that I wouldn't give that offer to) :p edit: and NO, I'm not offering that to John Schmidt...
