50

Is it okay if I pay for 50 and you ship them when you have all in stock?
Still trying to clean pm's out.

Thanks Mike

Purdy stuff... I must say. Thx for the fast shipment! You state 5/16" ID -Threaded, so Standard 18 thread count... for the Compression Die right?

5/16-18?

Looks like maybe its a 16 count or maybe even 14??

Thx

Randy

This is the way they look.
These two are .700" long, I cut down for an AZB'r who had 5/8" long ferrules.
I kept the cap and the alignment shoulder but trimmed the length of the cap and threads.

Ivor-X is opaque. You can see through it a little at the bottom ( it has 5/16 ID there ). You can't see through on the top b/c it's a cap.
It is not chalk or toothpaste white . It polishes real nicely.

Hi Randy,
It's 5/16 18. The compression die might call for you to turn down the tenon to .285. It's gonna be a loose fit, so I recommend a good epoxy for that .
If you use a live threader, you can keep the tenon to 5/16 before threading.

thx for the quick response.

So if I choose the 'hand thread' using the ferrule itself (and say some T-9) you'd recommend the turning the ferrule to what diameter to get that nice 'cozy fit' down to the shoulder?

On those images after 'shorten the shoulder end of the ferrule', did you also relieve the threading (beveling) the bottom 1.5-2mm to insure the positive seat at the shoulder when gluing?

thx

I don't recommend " hand threading using the ferrule itself ". You'll put too much stress on the Ivor-X and most likely crack it .

Joey,I've worked on a couple shafts that the maker said had this stuff on them, and they were both more of a creamy color like Juma than the pics you show, just curious.

Is that due to lighting or camera quirks? The stuff I've seen is NICE,but haven't really worked on it other than tips and cleaning, but it sure looks spiffy when I'm done.

I'm probably going to need a few of these before long. Any chance of getting it in rod form? Tommy D.

There were a few creamy ones sold years ago.
They are all like in the pic now.
I don't sell them in rods anymore.
I have limited numbers left.
When they are all gone, that might be it.

Ivor-X are now down to a few.

10 pieces minimum at $35 .
