Joseph Cues said:Ivor-X has been around for a little more than two years now.
I had the first one installed on my break cue by Kerry Zeiler.
It hits very close to ivory. It is non-porous so it stays clean and easy to clean as well.
It is now a standard ferrule for Zylr cues and Ned Morris cues.
Among the cuemakers who now offer Ivor-X are Jerry Olivier, Skip Weston, Edwin Bandido Reyes ( he made Bustamante's playing shaft with it) JT Custom Cuesand Jer Blackheart.
Ned Morris uses them exclusively in his cues now.macguy said:There is a difference between offering it and recommending it. Do you know if any use it as their standard ferrule of choice?
Bustamante does.((VH)) said:Any pros use ivor-x on their shafts?

He's a cue maker out of Quezon City in the Phillipines. I found out about him through www.easypooltutor.com
There's one review of his work there that is essentially a torture test that was done to one of his cues. His prices are very competitive and the reviews of his workmanship indicate very high quality construction of his cues.
I'm still waiting on the cue to perform my own review of the quality, so I don't have first hand experience, but if the reviews of his work are anywhere near accurate I don't think I'll be disappointed.
