Thanks for posting pictures of of Ginacue for me. By the way, the second box cue pictures you posted are of my very first box cue. I ordered that one new in 1973 from Bill Stroud (only one like it), and sold it in 1975. I tried to buy it back 2 weeks later and was told it had been left on top of a car when getting in the car, and was gone for good. 31 years later, in March, 2006 I saw it on AZ by someone wanting to sell it. I ended up getting it back last spring. The family of the person who owned the cue lived in the Ohio city where the cue was lost. It is the same one. I have pictures that match the birdseye! This is the cue with the most significant emotional attachment that I have in my collection. Bill Stroud calls it the Prodigal Son, and it will now be with me for the duration.
Because I was told it had been lost and gone forever, I believe it is why I started my Quixote-like quest for box cues, because the one I wanted, I could not have..... but then I got it back. Kind of like being able to re-purchase your first car, etc.
