Does anybody remember the material from the '80s, that was stripped. It was suposed to have Ivory dust in the white stripes. I still have some. It was a great ferrule material, but split too easily...JER

I don't recall any striped material - but I do still have
a chunk of some stuff that was made from "50% ground up Ivory".
The color was perfect - never tried a ferrule tho - think
maybe there also were structural concerns.
