Jacoby Cue Raffle for Trevor

Wow, you guys are awesome!

You made my wife cry .............. but it was the good kind of cry. The generousity is overwhelming.

My wife said to me "I gues your pool buddies are alright after all." :thumbup:

Right now my son is getting a "pic" line put in his leg here in the Pediatric ICU and we get to move back down to the 3rd floor sometime after that tonight since we might be here at the hospital for some time they wanted us and him to be more comfortable down in the Pediatric area on the 3rd floor. Joshua has to recieve his second round of dialysis tonight for an hour and after that we're hoping for a good night for him so he/we can get some good rest overnight.

I don't have much time right now so I'd better get going and check to see how the procedure is going and since we're moving back down to the 3rd floor and with his dialysis tonight I might not get another chance to pop in here on the forum, especially since my wife needs to go home tonight to try and help get stuff at home done so our older boys can start their first day of High School tomorrow so I'm gonna be by Josh's side alone tonight. Our other two boys are Sophomore/Senior.

Hardball is the first person since I posted to get 4 numbers. He also gets my number (9)

I know there are only 46 numbers available, but is it possible to create more spots? I know there are others besides me who want to be in on this raffle. I will also sell the cue if I am the winner and donate all monies to Trevor's son. Glad to see an outpouring of human genrosity and kindness in our AZ community! ~Bryce

Others who want to help out can just donate to Trevor. Hopefully if someone wins the cue that does not need a cue they can do another raffle, I will be out of town the next three days so if anyone wants me to do another raffle, I may not be quite as available.

As far as this lottery is concerned I will wait until 8pm to see if a few more people pay for their spots. If we get all but a handfull paid by 8pm central time I believe we will let it go with tonights drawing.

Ray,

Below in blue text is the verbiage from Hardballs' PM to me for his spots. He originally wanted the last five spots but Charlie D beat him to number 4. I have sent him the payment information and he has excellent iTrader feedback so I have no reason to doubt the integrity of his request. I did remove his name, as I would not want someone posting my name from a PM without my permission.

***I believe we should at least wait until all spots are paid for. I will not be giving my number away to an unpaid spot. The deal was that someone "BUY" 4 spots. If we go ahead and draw and 9 wins it will go back up for raffle to raise additional money for Josh, if hardball is not paid. I will raffle it at no charge.

Ray is right, my bad, I jumped the gun wanting to get the money to Trevor. I am going to wait until all spots are paid to have the drawing. I will edit the statements for tonight. I am going to go ahead and send what we have collected so far to Trevor tomorrow morning and once all spots are paid we will have the drawing.

Sorry for the confusion, I just wanted to get the money to Trevor as soon as possible.

Don,

By all means send the money collected to Trevor, I think that's a great idea. A few people have donated directly to Trevor also though the chipin button that I posted.

You could still pm everyone that is not paid and urge them to get paid. Maybe they will snap to. You could also ask for people to be alternates in case anyone is not paid by a certain drawing the alternates will step in.

Thanks Don!! The raffle is a huge labor of love, I really appreciate what you're doing!

Thanks for the help and advice Ray. I think we will be okay for the Friday drawing, if someone is not paid by Friday morning we will open their spots back up for others to purchase. Again, sorry to everyone for being wishy/washy I guess I am just gulible and assumed that anyone that bought a spot for this raffle would pay even if their number was not drawn, I know I certainly would!!!!

Thanks again to everyone, I will send out reminder PMs tomorrow to the ones that are still left to pay and we will get this thing done and a winner drawn on Friday night.
