Putting this sweet JMW ebony on ebony cue up for sale. It's in very good condition, only slight problem is that the finish has shrunk a little bit. Refinish is not required as there is no damage.

Please explain the finish problem a little better. I really don't know what you mean by the finish has shrunk a little bit. Does this mean you can feel the points and ring work? Thanks !

yes you can feel the points a little. I don't think the wood expanded or anything since it's still flush with the phenolic collars. If the wood had expanded slightly it wouldn't be flush with the collar. The cue is still in great condition.

Looking at the pics of this amazing cue, I think it's worth noting that the points are 5 veneer and also the windows in the butt sleeve are also 5 veneers..

yea sorry I'm an idiot. 5 veneers in points and windows. description has been updated.
 
I'm amazed that this cue is still here. Beautiful work with a great design. Even if every ring was popped through the finish, the price of getting it refinished would be worth it at your selling price. Best of luck selling this lovely JMW!
