Jeannette Lee - DCC results

What was the result of her 6 ahead 1 pocket match last night? I was bagged and had to go to bed after the 3rd game.

6 ahead one-pocket seems like too much work for a measley 3k. They should post up at least 10k for that much time and effort. This is the DCC FFS!!! Can't they find a few people willing to go in on this??

really? 500/ game is 'measley'? how many times ahve you seen that bet in the poolroom over the last year?

The 3k is likely just posted coz that is what one of the partiezs was gonna max out at and he/ she didnt want to get short-shot.

It's not $500 a game it's an ahead set they could play 30-40 games before someone is six ahead. Really is it worth playing for probably around $100 a game prob not.

So 500 a game is not a decent bet?

And, if you were betting 500/ game, wouldn't you want your opponenentt to be putting up more than 1 or 2 game shot?

Anyone who has been around $pool knows that ahead sets are often pro-rated.

Someone stated that they could play 40-50 games before they get to 6 ahead, so 3k aint worth it....., but if they play 40-50 game at 10K thats $200 - $300 a game....,

Might as well take the spot at the some cash rather than none, someone could snap it off in 10-15 games, if their playing for 3k somebody must need the 3k or they would have walked
 
I am not understanding the confustigation.

If somebody said I will play you some $500 one hole, is that not a decent bet?

Now if your agreement to the above was met with: OK, but you gotta put up 6 games to show me you aren't taking a 1 or 2 game shot at me...how does that change anything? Somehow, agreeing to put yourself in a position to lose 6 games makes it a weak bet?

I just don't understand.
 
I am not a very smart man. But if you pro-rate a 6 ahead for $3,000.
I wonder if it is $500 a game?

Black-Balled-san, you must remember the first lesson: everybody can play shortstop position when their balls not in play. Second lesson: everybody gamble online, because everybody a model and has money(just ask them).

If it takes a while, I imagine they'd adjust or find another game. Just like the stream with the two lesser-skilled guys knocking them around, I love hearing from keyboard champs about the ease of running racks on a 9' diamond.

Now, time for something I'm good at.. lunch. :thumbup:

It's $500 a game only for the 6 game lead. It doesn't take into consideration the unlimited amount of games 2 players need for someone to come out 6 games ahead.

I still think $3000 is a decent bet regardless of how long it takes to win.
