When I left about an hour ago, it was Archer and SVB in the winners side final and C. Williams and Crosby on the one loss side.

In the Archer/Crosby semi, Johnny got mad at the ref over a call and kicked the table....HARD! But he won anyway.


In the Mika/ Crosby semi that went H/H, Mika could not catch a break. He had at least 4 occasions when 1/2 inch or less meant the difference between perfect and screwed. The match went down to the last 4 balls.

Yours truly finished T-9 in the Seniors

with a bad beat....OF COURSE...second loss!

Oh well.

I think Joey A finished T-5 or 6.

Well, it was one of 8 or 9 events taking place all that the same time at the same place. Since my momma said if you don't have anything nice to say...don't say anything at all...I won't have any more comments on the event overall.

That's probably too harsh so I'll just say that having that many events going on at the same time, it was a real challenge to not have it become quite a zoo.

There were several players who entered both the open and the seniors. I never counted but I think there were a low 20s number of players in the Seniors division.

What time did the SVB & JA match begin? from my calculations it should be over now. An I right? I Think Tony Crosby Lost to Mika.

Good shooting Jim. I wish you had beat out Joy Boy, but I guess he got lucky. :wink:

Not here dieing to know though, last I heard Archer was waiting to play in the finals against either SVB or Charlie W. I wish I knew more but I believe that it will probably end up Archer & SVB again. Great match.
 
yes, archer and svb are suppose to play in the finals...just wondering if anyone knows the results or if they're still playing

They must be, I get updates on Archers matches at the end. I have had nothing.

johny beat shane 9 to 7 then shane lost to charlie williams hill hill. archer williams in the final!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Charlie Williams is playing Johnny Archer.
SVB came in 3rd.
The 16 year old kid from Germany ran 150 and out against Orcullo and 120 and out against another top player.

I thought it was funny to see him in "Amateur 9 ball event" after that.:confused:

We never played. Had I won the first match I lost, we would have matched up...so, as I told him afterward, I put on the lemon to let him by!!!

Which, of course, is a lie but it got some laughs down there.

PS: Just got back home to N'ville so I don't know who won. Charlie played jam up after getting knocked into the 1 loss side..
