Jay-Welcome home!

Welcome home.
After that ordeal at the airport, I'm not so sure that I'd fly again.
I would have been off that plane before you taking a slow boat home.

Get some sleep!

Good to have you back.

Thanks man! I feel like I had a close call. I'm not sure the pilot could have gotten that plane airborne, if the engine had quit during take off. Full plane, very heavy load, three engines might not have cut it. In fact, someone on here who is more familiar with aviation safety could probably tell us the chances of a fully loaded 747 taking off on three engines. Let's just say I'm breathing a lot easier today.

Welcome back to the good ol' USA. Although it seems as if you left a piece of heaven minus the flight mishap. You were NO saint on that flight lol. You were irascible same as I would have been!:o Screw their "rules"; it's mass rule in that case against the corporate rigidity.

Jay, when I was taking flying lessons, it was past of a discussion one night in class. If a passenger jet were to take off and have to make an emergency landing, they'd be dumping fuel real quick. It was a long time ago and not part of the curriculum. It was just something that came up in general interest.
