Wow it’s been 2 years now. What an amazing accomplishment by Jayson Shaw. New world record high run of 714 consecutive balls pockets. Thanks to Ara Shaw for pushing Jayson to set the World Record.
We are looking forward to Jaysons return to shatter his amazing World Record very soon at the brand new Legends Of Pocket Billiards Private Billiard Studio.

When will we see some different players taking a shot.

Who would you like to see take a shot at it?
SVB asked to come back and take a shot at it and it looks like Fedor might make a go at it.

By all means get Fedor. I'm sure Kristina will tag along and it's pretty much a lock she'll run 200+ on that big pocket table you'll be using. Maybe even 300.

They both I’m sure will be playing.
What do you mean by big pocket table. We used a stock gold crown 3. There are other tables being played on in this world besides Diamond table with pockets being 4.5 or 4.25 or 4 inch.
Any table with brand new cloth and new balls the pockets will play easier but harder to control the cue ball.

Any chance you could get Ray Martin to run some racks?

I know it wouldn’t be a record run, but I would love to see that old school approach and think it would be a cool video legacy for one of the last great old school 14.1 players.

There are videos of Ray Martin in the internet.
Ray will not be participating sorry.

I know his situation might be complicated but Ruslan played some of the most beautiful patterns I’ve seen when he was there. Shame he had such a short time. Would love to see him again.

I don’t know that FSR has ever played 14.1, but he’s got a good rhythm for it. He’d be cool to watch.

Mika. That’d be badass if he broke 526 or 714.

Niels. Has a big soft spot for 14.1.

While 700+ shots without a miss is doubtless a tremendous accomplishment, pocket size is rather irrelevant re: (IMHO) the REAL issue: Namely, could anyone ever again break that many racks and never end up hopelessly hooked?

Id like to see some from the top 20 on the Fargo list who is also genuinely loves 14.1. In other words, a top player who plays it even if isn’t being paid to.

Fantastic point. Jayson got frozen to a ball on another run at 407 in the middle of the table after the break. We talked before his 714 and both agreed a 590 ball run could happen but would have to avoid getting unlucky and get some good rolls or maybe a dead ball or 2 for it to happen.

Me too. Looks like SVB is coming in June and Fedor at some point also. Jayson is returning to try again soon.
We have a lot of Women players playing this year for the Black Widow high run invitational. We might see a few big runs from the Women.

I second Mika, love to see him try once he has won his current battle.

Jasmin ouschan and Nick van den Berg would be nice but not sure how often they are in the us, both are 14.1 players.

Tosti too!

For any one to accomplish this Shaw 14.1 feat, it tests the culture itself.
Shaw's demeanor is quite different than his peers.
Any fragility, your out. :)

For the women, I’d be shocked if Kelly Fisher didn’t walk away with a 160+ ball run after a week. And then Han Yu should be capable of putting up a 200 based on her Fargo alone.

Side note, what do we think about having attempts for a 4.25” pocket category? I know, I know, 14.1 on anything less than 4.5” pockets is not “14.1”. But we do know these guys can run 200s on small pockets so we will see some neat runs. Plus, the initial target would be low enough to entice top players once again. I recently watched Schmidt’s attempts on the predator table and I found it interesting. The tighter pockets require good patterns so watching it is very instructive.
