Jayson Shaw playing real well

Congrats to Brandon Shuff on reaching the last 8. New England seems to agree with Brandon, who came 9th in the August Turning Stone.

Nice win by Casanzio over Archer. Ron's a fine, but not very well known player. The Joss Tour has three of it's top players left (Shaw, Sossei, Casanzio) heading to the final eight on Sunday.

Who is this Cosanzio never heard of him but he took down some notables.
What is final race to? I hope they have ref or neutral racker or if not then rack your own in final

sry, i have to disagree here, the avg standart of the joss tour (from the US players) is nowhere near than in the eurotour or from what i saw from japan and the philipines so far! the only US players who could compete there regulary on a high standart are SVB and dechaine, all the others like morris, hall, deuel, bergmann, oscar and so on are all very good players, but i highly doubt, that they are material to win a eurotour! earl still has the class but we all know of his mental problems and archer is a legend like earl for sure, but his time is defo over now!

(on topic) yes, jayson is the future, hes absoluty awesome to watch, he just needs to settle down a bit imo and he will be able to win many majors.....(sry for my bad english, its not my first language :) )
 
Honestly, i think Jayson Shaw has difficulty establishing himself as a " Veteran " player level with the likes of Svb or Orcollo when he has simply superior talent and firepower then both had at his age.

Mike Dechaine ? Jeremy Sossei ? Nahhhh

They may beat him in a race to nine but in a long race to 21 or 100, they gonna need the 7 and some weight or they gonnna get steamrolled as Jayson has simply too much firepower n superior shotmaking ability a.k.a Eagle Eye !!

But Mike Dechaine has been playing really well recently, big imprpvement compared to a year ago when Jayson would simply flip on the " salughter mode ", cant do that anymore.

Since Efren in his glorious days, i've been waiting for a player like Jayson Shaw to dazzle, just adore his f*** you mentality.
But again, i've seen Jayson dogged many shots in a hill-hill against seasoned vets like Orcollo n Svb, so hopefully he can overcome the psychological barrier which wld put him at the nxt lvl.

Just my 2 cents guys :)

Yes, the standard in Asia is much higher and the Asian players often come and prove it in America.

Eurotour players have been far less competitive than the Asians in American-based events. In the 2014 US Open in October, in races to 11, Dechaine knocked off Albin Ouschan and Tony Drago, Sossei beat Albin Ouschan, Eberle beat Niels Feijen, Putnam beat Ruslan Chinakhov, Bartram beat Drago, Ernesto beat Ralf Souquet, Justin Hall beat Vandenberg, and Eurotour #1 Mark Gray finished 65th.

A Mosconi style match between the Joss Tour regulars and the Eurotour regulars would be crazy close:

The Joss 5 would, perhaps, be Dechaine, Shaw, Sossei, Strickland and either Casanzio or D'Alfonso. No five man team of Eurotour regulars would have an easy time beating them.

The Joss Tour is crazy strong, perhaps the strongest REGIONAL tour in American history. Pooh pooh it if you like.

How about joss tour regular casanzio beating morris out of the Sunday gate?! And after taking out archer last night, what a great tournament for him.

These are minor upsets, Consanzio is a great player. Morra just beat Shaw, so the Joss Tour will have three of the last six players, but all of them on the "B" side.

only thing hurting the enjoyment is having to listen do this Danny D
most shots he calls are super obvious the none obvious ones he calls wrong and if he calls a player that can play with both hands "amphibious" opposed to ambidextrous im going to mute it
 
The Joss Tour is stronger than it ever has been and it has shown at the last five Turning Stone events, all of which have had elite 128 player fields. Dechaine, Van Boening, Strickland, Shaw, Shaw have been the last five champions, so the Joss Tour has defended its turf pretty consistently of late. Sossei has had two second place finishes, too.
