Except the odd time when someone would send a link to something they thought I should see.
But what I really mean is these people get me all twisted up thinking about their comments.
They are super nobodies and only become noticeable when someone who is a somebody responds to them. It's classic and I feed them to often.

I agree totally - there are a couple of posters that would be 'voted off the island' real fast if I had the hammer. Too many posters post nothing positive. Difference of opinion is healthy. I also think the previous thread should have been left alone. I was suprised that it remained as well mannered as it did.

I have followed both threads. A number of folks have posted to offer their opinion on the eventual winner or the alleged evil plot by one or the other player in this potential match.
To me. the situation is simple, JB made an offer to Lou for a rematch and listed his non-negotiable requirements for the rematch.
Lou declined his offer and made a counter offer.
The match and the money will be decided by the players and backers, if there are any.
I will patiently wait to see if the match happens and would like to watch it if possible.
So, everybody take a deep breath and please let the PARTICIPANTS in this matchup decide if there will be a match played.

What is the ex-patriot? Is that a person or a movie? Do you mean expatriate, as in a person who lives in a country that they are not a citizen of?
If so then I will have you know good sir that I am neither and ex-patriot nor an expatriate as I live in the buckle of the bible belt under the protective shield of the United States of America as a native born son of this great nation.
And sir, my advertising is buy not a jb subliminal case but instead very bold and clear. I take great pride in my billboards and the frequency with which you see them due to my clever and interesting threads.
Well there is a certain amount of public record that comes with making offers in public. But it could all be grandstanding as you say and perhaps I sincerely hope that Lou won't take me up on it.
After last night's play I shouldn't be offering to play for 20cts much less 20k.
I enjoyed the 'post' out of the gate and am beside myself it got pulled. I had a hunch that JB's reasonable edit: not really so reasonable 'non-negotiable' 20k offer was not going to fly with Lou. From what I have heard, I think Lou likes to run the show and call the shots. edit: after reading Lou's rebuttal posts here, I now see Lou's side. Sounds like a hassle for 20k.
I never saw the original match but do not blame JB for wanting another go. You only live once.
