Yes you did. I was there. Eric asked you repeatedly to stop and leave him alone but you kept it up. You know damn well there is bad blood between you two, I have seen it firsthand at least twice.
John, you knew what you were doing with Eric. Admit it or not, doesn't matter but you knew what you were doing. I also begged Eric not to knock you out and give you an excuse to get out of the match. Eric could even back that up as I said it just about verbatim.

This ultimately had nothing to do with pool, just happened to be in a pool hall. Its called being a man and not allowing people to disrespect you. If this went down as folks say, I think great restrain was showed.
People get into fights, right or wrong, in a lot more places than just pool halls. I can assure you, Eric wasn't there to fight anyone and avoided John up until the point John called him out to play for money.
Then he still tried to avoid him but John wouldn't let it go and kept calling over to our table.

I am cool. Made the guy an easy offer to play for 20k and he is too scared to simply say yes and come and get it.
I would be happy to just play. But Lou prefers to live in the past and cling to the most important event of his life so far.

Eric tried to assault me the year before. He hit a 60 year old man over an internet fight that Eric instigated.
Don't cover up for this perpetrator. I accept that I should have never talked to him at all. But nothing, NOTHING I said justified his actions.

10 ahead 8 hours a day pro rated after 3 days for 10K on Lou's end and John would get another 10K in side bets to scratch his 20K itch.
The last and possibly largest hurdle neither wanted to cave on was the home field advantage. It didn't even look like either one wanted to concede to a neutral location.
What about 2 days of play at a location of John's choice and 2 days of play at a location of Lou's choice.
Without a compromise, this game will not take place...which I don't think will bother either player much.

Maybe someday in the future I will feel like giving this person a shot at my money again. Right now I feel zero need to do so. I made a polite offer with fair terms.
The guy is scared to death in my opinion. Savoring his most important victory of his life. The one time he wasn't a total nit and he has to hold onto it and milk it for the rest of his years sucking on the government teat.
