Trust me. It takes a certain type to just shrug if off when artillery is exploding all around you, even as a civilian. I sleep during the day in a thin aluminum trailer with no overhead protection, WHEN all of the mortar and rocket fire comes in, bsmutz, so PISS OFF!

Sorry!!!! (not) WTF did I do to deserve this tirade? I was merely pointing out, AGAIN, as many people on here have, that you are not in the military. If you want to jump to conclusions, it would seem that the more logical one (to anyone with half a brain) would be that everyone over here that sees a post from someone in Iraq automatically assumes that they are in the military.
I am fully aware that inanimate objects are incapable of feeling or thinking and have been since early childhood. I also realize that it is mentally and physically debilitating living and working in a combat zone. I don't need to have these things pointed out to me. I'm happy for you that you can shrug it off, although given the tone of many of your posts, I have to say that it doesn't seem like you are just shrugging it off. Of course, it is entirely possible that your normal demeanor has always been antagonistic. Enjoy your stay!
