Jeopardy Question

I was just watching Jeopardy. The question went something like this:

You are playing the pool game 8-ball you are the stripped balls.
What is the range of balls you are shooting at??

All 3 contestants tried to answer.
The 1st women said, what is odd. The next said, what is even. The last a guy said, What is eleven.
I could not believe they all missed it :banghead::slap::withstupid::withstupid:

Sad answers for sure BUT, this could be a trick question. The answer could be "what are the numbers nine through fifteen OR it could be "what are the numbers eight through fifteen" since at the end of the striped balls you do shoot the "solid" eight-ball. I would have answered the former, not the latter in this case.

I think it actually said what range before shooting the 8-ball.The answer was 9 to 15

People don't care about pool.






















What is why isn't pool a major mainstream sport?
 
I heard another question along those lines but pertaining to 9-ball.
The question was in a game of 9-ball, how many balls are used?
The guy naturally answered 9, when the correct answer is 10 (including whitey).
We have to face it. Some people love pool. The rest haven't a clue.

Sometimes it requires 12 balls to play 9 ball.

Forget not knowing anything about pool, the shocking thing is that, apparently, neither one knew what "range" meant.
