Hi Fellas, I haven't been on in a while, hanging out at One Pocket . org. I received some sad news Monday morning. Jerry Olivier, a good friend to me and I know alot of you know him also. He had a heart attack Sunday night. First report I got Monday was the put in 2 stints and had him in ICU trying to stablize him, I just got off the phone with another of Jerry's and I friend and they have moved him to a private room. I would think that that is a sign of improvement for him. I will keep the post updated as I know more info.
I know he would apperciate prayers sent his way.---Smitty

PS I am trying to get in touch with Joe Salazar if anyone knows his number or email please give him mine.

Wishing Jerry a full recovery

Harold,
Thanks for the update. Please tell Jerry I hope he is getting better each day. I hope he's back in form and learns how to relax very soon.

All the best,
Barry

As I already posted in another post , I talked to his wife today from his hospital room....Jerry might of been dead if he had not gone to the Hospital when he did.....He had 4 blocked arteries......One was 90% blocked, one 80% the other 2 were around 70-80% blocked.....He had 1 stint put in, one they used the ballon to expand it, the other they cleaned out and the 4th one was too blocked to try anything to it....
He will go home today or tomorrow but with limited activity.....Only time will tell........Jerry could use a lot of prayers.....

Jerry one of pool's finest ambasadors. He is a good player, a "GREAT" cue maker and a fine gentleman who loves the game of pool.

I became aquainted with Jerry a little over a year ago when my 2 custom annie-o cues and my custom Jack Justis case were stolen. Since then, I have bought 2 cues from Jerry and had several older cues refinished.

I have a tremendous amount of respect for Jerry and consider him a friend. I hope and pray for the best for him and his family. Hopefully, he will be back to doing the things that i know that he loves to do soon.
