Jerry Rauenzahn Cues

Jerry Rauenzahn cues play very well. I don't know about the collectability factor, but he is a very good cue builder, and a great guy to deal with

I have two of his cues, purchased off this site. I like them both & have not decided which one to make my player. They do not last long when up for sale, on here or E-Bay. I have played with almost all the major cue makers cues over the years and his cues are right up there with any of them. John Henderson

IMHO Jerry makes some of the nicest cues for the money. The playability of his cues is EXCELLENT! Collectability is only a matter of time.....he has been making cues for over 30 years ;)

I have only had one, a veneered 4-pointer. The cue was extremely well made, no weakpoints anywhere.
Playability is off course subjective but I really liked the way it played.
Superb shaftwood aswell.

I bought one of Jerry's cues on here several months ago and it plays superb. Mine is 19.4 oz with a black leather wrap and has a 3/8x10 steel pin with a flat-faced wood joint. I would describe the hit as being solid and crisp with a soft resonance to it. It's not overly stiff and I love it. I bought it with an OB-1 shaft included and purchased a Z2 shaft for it later to try out since I used to play with a predator sneaky. I loved the feel of the OB-1 but I ended up going back to the Z2 just recently because I feel more comfortable with it. I plan on purchasing another one of his higher end cues later on but for now I am happy. I would highly recommend his cues and I didn't have to invest that much money for a high quality playing cue.
