I just spoke w/Paul's son and he confirmed that "Jew Paul" is not dead. This may be why nobody could find his obituary.

I wrote this thread after reading it on the one-pocket forum.

Though I am embarrassed that this thread created by me was in err, I am elated that Paul is still on this Earth. I hope that he is contacted soon about being inducted into the One Pocket Hall of Fame. His peers want to elect him in, though he expressed previously a desire to not be included. I hope he changes his mind. It looks like there's quite a few people who would like to see him receive this prestigious honor and award.

Long live Paul. May the coming years bring him much joy! :angel2:

You know, Paul might have started this rumor to check out his eulogy. I don't know him personally but with the things I've read and heard he has a great sense of humor.

Actually, the origin of Paul's demise originally came from none other than Mike Sigel before it hit the forums.

If anybody sees Mike Sigel, please let him know that Paul is alive and well! :smile:

Jack Hines started a rumor he was dead once...

Heard a lot about this man from others. Haven't read the entire thread so apologize if this is redundant, but I heard that Paul would stand the entire time he played and hold his cue suspended so that the butt never hit the floor. Can anybody confirm this? He must have been an iron man and never got tired!

Jew Paul isn't the only person to have rumors circulating about his death.
