Jim Carrey's emotional reaction to Earl Strickland's actions.

Not where I come from Buddy. I come from the land of no strip clubs but if you light up while walking down the street, chances of getting busted are slim to none.

I had a cop stick his head in my window one night and say, "smells good in here".
And he wasn't talking about my Chanell.

Yeah. I thought that was pretty stupid. Don't get me wrong. I don't care for Earl. But that was just stupid.

Hilarious? Really? Old footage of a guy acting bad merged with footage of a bad actor. You tube is destroying society.

Louis CK has a funny clip on how people overuse the word hilarious.
But I can't find it.

But he has a similar quote:
"As humans, we waste the shit out of our words. It’s sad.
We use words like “awesome” and “wonderful” like they’re candy. It was awesome? Really? It inspired awe?
It was wonderful? Are you serious? It was full of wonder?
You use the word “amazing” to describe a goddamn sandwich at Wendy’s.
What’s going to happen on your wedding day, or when your first child is born? How will you describe it?
You already wasted “amazing” on a f*cking sandwich."

Personally, I agree with a lot of what Earl has to say. I mean, I'm not sure pool can ever be popular but it sure as hell not going to be when there are 4-hour matches. Pool needs to be filled with action in today's world. Big breaks, a quick pace and clear display of skill. This is what Earl wants and it's really hard to argue with that.
