People are hearing a lot about a California cue maker named Jim Pierce. His cues are selling all over the world, getting more and more popular every day.

Jim is a close friend of mine, and I'm proud to say that I have several of his cues, and wouldn't care to sell any of them.

I just wanted to brag a little bit on his playing abilities, as I'm pretty proud of him. He placed 33-48 in the Men's open division in the BCA NATIONALS in LAS VEGAS, out of a field of 1328 players.

For those of you who have not heard of his cues, look around, because someone in your area has already got one.

Great cues from "Old School", Contemporary, to outlandish, unique designs. Absolutely gorgeous choices of woods, shafts made of 30 year old bowling alley wood, with finishes that look like glass. If you are curious or interested in purchasing one of his cues, do so soon, as his cues are becoming more and more popular, and prices will increase due to demand.

Am I prejudiced?? DAMN RIGHT!! I know what I've got, and love 'em!

It looks like you have a nice collection of cues there. Can you compare (from your signature list) how a Pierce cue hits in comparison to a Unity cue?

Congrats to Jim for placing well in the tournament!

The shafts are quite different. The Unity cue has maple shafts vs all of my Pierce Cues having the "Bowling Alley Wood" shafts. Both are great cues. Hard to compare, at least describe.

The wood work in the Pierce cues are more refined, and are, of course more expensive.

After receiving my last Pierce Cue, I called him and told him that he had probably lost a customer; that I would most likely not be buying any more cues from him, unless, perhaps, as a gift for a friend. After a bit of stammering, he asked what had upset me. I responded, "Nothing! This is probably the finest cue I have ever played with in 59 years of play".

Thanks,
Well Tony I had a pretty good run but I should have went further I missed a case game 8 ball. That would have put me 24-32 and the guy I would of played I drill the nite before out of 350 at 50 a game so I had a good chance of getting through him. Once I got on the loser side I was just so tired and I ran into a monster lol he killed me. I just want to say thanks to all the people there that were sweating all my matches good or bad. Thanks again everybody for all the support. Next year I will practice more then 7 days before the turny lol JimPierce

I'm also proud to say I've sold dozons of his cue to many countries, including Tony LOL. Keep it going my friend as you begin the team play, wish I could be there with you. Maybe next year, who knows? Good luck Buddy!

CONGRATS!

Jim is a class act. The cue I was blessed to win plays super. His workmanship is great. Solid playing cue.

I'll chime in and agree, Jim is a solid guy.. I've only talked to him on the phone a dozen times or so but his cues play fantastic. Got one on the way in the near future.

Congrats Jim!

Awesome to hear about Jim and his cues, since this morning I purchased one, ( I actually traded a Tim Scruggs and some cash for one). Cant wait to get it in the mail! Ive admired his work for quite some time and everytime someone had one for sale I thought about pulling the trigger...

Class Act !!

I had the pleasure of working with Jim and designing a class A cue recently. Let me just say I am absolutly pleased of how everything came together with the cue. It is everything I wanted and yet so much more. Not only does the cue look great but that taper he puts on his shafts is something else. I am really impressed with the playability. But enough with that I will leave a review and pictures soon in the review section. I got to hang out with Jim and friends while in Vegas and watched and sweated his matches. Jim is a great player thats for sure, Im glad I had a chance to meet him and hang out and 2 big tournaments so far including Valley Forge. Just seeing Jim play and sweating some of his matches I wouldn't be out of line to say if he put more practice time into it instead of just 7 days before the tournament we could see just what he would be capable of doing he is a natural . But his love of cue building is just that cue building, even know he is a hell of a player. Well keep up the good work Jim building those great hitting cues. And thanks for makeing me a few extra bucks while in Vegas my friend, it was a pleasure putting my money on you,,,<<ED
