Does anyone have any information about Jim Rempe cues? I was just given one and I cant find any information about them. I would appreciate any help you could give me. thank you

Actually Adam cue company in the late 70's early 80's did a signature line and there is a caricature of Jim in the Buttplate of the cue and his replicated signature in the forearm. I believe Meucii did some Rempe's also.

Thanks Craig

The cue that I have is the one with the picture of Jim on the botom I believe. It has a cartoon charecter on the bottom of a man with an afro and a pool cue who appears to be shooting. There is also a signature on the forarm. I will post pictures later today...I have to take some.

Does anyone have contact info for Jim Rempe that they could PM me?

Hey there Uwate.... Jim Rempe has a website, complete with email & telephone contacts... cb

I dont know if those pics worked please let me know

The links you posted are to your own hard drive - I'm not sure how you were able to do that...

You can either post the pics to some photo server and provide a link here, or use the AZBilliards forum attachment manager tool which is available in the Post authoring screen/page.

Images are supposed to be 100kb or less, and if they are too wide they will throw the thread out of kilter. I'd shoot for 500 pixels wide, max.

The Real Photos of the Jim Rempe Cue

Sorry Guys but i figured it out, thanks for the help. Well these are the pictures a little lower quality than the first ones would have been but I think they do it justice. Tell me what you think.

Thanks for the ideas and the help everyone.

It is an Adams Cue and it was made under the Jim Rempe signature series...but I have no Idea what it retails for these days Does anyone have any guesses??

What do you want to know?

There were two different Rempe logos used by Adam, used randomly AFAIK. One standing, one shooting.

Pretty decent cues, like many Adam.

I noticed you play with that and break with a Huebler...which surprises me as I would consider the Huebler the better cue. Of course, you might have one set up for break or actually have one of the rare Huebler J/B cues. Of course, you may simply prefer the Adam.

I have a couple of these cues.

Meucci did make some cues featuring Jim Rempe. I had one for a while. Both the butt and the shaft were longer than normal. Rempe told me that they stopped making them because they had to change the lathes every time those cues were made, which took time from turning out the regular line. If I remember right, they only made about 1000 or so. I think they are hard to find these days. I think these had a caricature of Rempe set into the wrap.

It's "Adam" not "Adams". Guaranteed not a Meucci. It would likely sell for about 150-200.

Good cues, they will last. I wouldn't say Huebler's of that era were any better. The factory in Japan that this cue was made in had help getting set-up by Richard Helmstetter.
