You use the reticle so that the chalk mark records where you hit on the ball. And you compare this to where you thought you should have hit the ball, and then make corrections to your storke so one fits the other.

You can do this on any CB by making a circular mark with the chalk cube near the saluc mark on the CB. You simply need tow points of reference, the midpoint on the equator and a way to know which end was top.

Hi Wendy I have the instructions booklette. There's not much to it. I may be able to scan it or something. I read it in a half hour. There isn't much to it. I was quite disappointed:boring2:.

I hate that my rempe ball doesn't hold chalk. I was. Very dissapointed with that purchase. Srry. I know that's not what this thread was about but wanted to vent a little :)

Oh, and I threw away the instruction booklet. There was really no reason to keep them.

One thing's for sure: Taom brand chalk would be a bad choice for use with this training ball; its the cleanest chalk I've used.

My buddy gifted me a roll of this blue Predator band chalk (where each "cube" is shaped like an octagon). Even if you dipped the JRTB in solvent, I believe this chalk would still make its mark!

Thirty years ago I was having breakfast as usual with a professor of chemistry who had recently retired. He had become interested in something having to do with warming the earth without destroying it. He was explaining that for demonstration purposes he needed to construct a sphere that would have certain markings on it. I had no idea what this was about, but it occurred to me that I owned a sphere with markings on it. So the next morning I brought in my Jim Rempe cue ball and showed it to him. He jumped all over it and asked if he could keep it. He told me a year later that it was a superb demonstration device for his presentations.

presentations.

Players who want to learn more about how to play and feel that a training ball will help them. And sometimes it does.
On the subject, something bad has happened to my stroke over the years. I really notice it on long straight shots. I am absolutely aiming and stroking right (good enough to make it or just barely miss). But then I miss by a foot. I'm hitting off center and throwing the cue (pretty sure). I just can't seem to straighten my stroke out no matter how hard I concentrate. Never used to be a problem when I was young(er). Any advice?

my advice is push-ups-

or some of these

Air shoot the shot - as in right over dead center cue ball. Make sure the tip finishes at dead center ghost ball. There's your stick line. Get straight down to center ball and look at the cueball face when you pull the trigger.
