I wonder why we never see that poster hanging in the pool rooms?

Because the owner of the rights to his image and likeness had him on lockdown.

Iirc, it was his dad that pretty much said no to any requests and there was a change - his death? His sale of the rights? Or ???- in the last couple years that resulted in somewhat a resurgence of the Jimi Thing.
 
Jimi's personal photogragher was on Pawn Stars a few years ago selling a bunch of Jimi originals for big money. I don't recall any playing pool. Great find of a great talent. Johnnyt
 
Many thanks for the pool-playing pictures of my hero.

By the looks of his bridge, he didn't play a lot of pool. But I have no doubt he'd have been an A+ player if he wanted to. Fabulous control of his body.
