Hi Tina. Thanks. Meiko's right here and says hi too. Yeah, it's pretty cool that there are finally some tournaments to play in around here. It's also very cool how all of the players and room owners seem to be equally enthusiastic about these tournaments. There's going to be a $2000-added open 10-ball tournament at the same place that this past tournament was held (Alexander's) Febuary 17th-19th in case any of you players in neighboring states are interested (it is open to anyone).

Are you going to be in Hollywood this weekend? If so, Meiko and I will see you there. :)

Besides you should talk, everytime anyone split some you pulled out your (love) sponge and soaked up the dribbles!

LOL, if you recall the sponge left early...mad. I stayed til just before closing. Don't make me break out the pics again to prove just WHO was really drunk.... :D

I must give a reply on this....The Halestorm opened up with a 3-pak from the coin toss...He came up dry on the 4th game and BBJ made a fairly creative out....In the second game BBJ was proceeding to run out and he hooked himself on a fairly difficult two rail nip-draw shot...He kicked to the long rail and pocketed the ball...Only BBJ knows if it was intended to go straight in like it did or if he was really trying to get the OB to end up behind the balls that were in the direction of the OBs path or if he was hoping it would carome in off another ball.....At any rate he got out......DH did not really get a good look at a run out until it was 7-3 in BBJs favor....

I don't think he missed a ball the whole match, and I really did not see him play a bad shot until the 7 to the 8 in the last game of the match......

Some of the best bar box play I have seen in a while.......

His break still sucks though...and I know why...but I ain't never tellen.....;)

If BBJ ever gets a good break, he may very well be a world champion...JMO

Hey there!

This will actually be the first Swanee I am missing since it's inception. I really like that room also in Hollywood, California - very comfortable. I have a tournament in Vero Beach, Florida this coming weekend. The top 6 ladies from every regional tour is invited. The winner gets an invite to every tournament next year, and they also get them all paid. :cool: Susan W will be rooming with me and some other girls..

Aww shucks, now Im screwed, I can't even convince someone Ive never met!

Besides what I course meant to say was I'm not drinking again the evening before a big match! :eek:

Funny thing though, when I walked up to my match with NVB I had a pint (thought I'd have one too calm my nerves). NVB looked a bit stunned and pointed out that I wasn't allowed alcohol in the Arena or I would get a warning, never knew that (seemed to put him off though hehe)
