Hi,

Camatillo and Tulipwood Combo with 4 point / four veneers. Pink Ivory and Snake Juma Rings with Snake Juma Joint, Butt Cap, Inlays and a white double brown spec linen wrap.

Here is a cue that is finished that I built as a custom design for Jim Chrisos a Straight Pool Player in the Chicago Area.

Jim picked all of the wood combos, designed the inlay diamond and spear geometry and has spent over two weeks in my shop with some hands on participation while assisting me in the entire building of his personal cue. It's been great fun and he is very excited to be a part of this special in shop project. A true labor of love from a great guy

Jimmy hand picked his wood and shafts, designed the cue and the inlay pattern and wanted the purple of his last veneer to blend into the purple within the tulipwood forearm like it grew there. 19 oz on the money without a weight bolt. That Cametillo is some heavy wood!

Jim has a slip stroke and wanted a pressed but a non burnished wrap with no sealer for the feel.

looks great with the tulip

good job rick......those ilays look prehistoric to me.....very cool....

That's funny because my wife who rarely come into my shop came out there to see Jim's cue and he told her is was dinosaur bone and it was a material that cue makers could get.

She did not know if she should believe him for a day or two then finally figured out is was a lot of baloney.
